This blended vCourse may be the shortest, but it packs a punch. Performing hand hygiene and garbing in a detailed, systematic, and consistent way is one of the fundamental aspects of contamination control. Failure in garbing work practices has been frequently associated as the root cause or a contributing cause of microbial excursions. This course explores all aspects of hand hygiene and garbing and initial gloved fingertip sampling based on USP 797 requirements (both 2008 and 2019) as well as CriticalPoint recommended best practices.
This course includes 1.75 hours of home study Continuing Education.
After taking the On-Demand activities, there is a prescheduled 45-minute question-and-answer period where students can ask questions related to the course content.
